about the artist
Tomur Atagok opened 40 solo exhibitions in USA, Holland, Balkan Countries and participated in the both international and national group exhibitions besides curating exhibitions and organizing projects and wrote and lectured on art and museology. She founded and chaired the first Museum Studies in Turkey in the Graduate School of the Yıldız Technical University in 1989 until her retirement. She headed the founding of the Faculty of Arts and Design of the YTU in 1997 and was assigned to be the Dean of the Faculty between 2004 - 2006. She has many awards and her works are in the collections of TMBB, Istanbul Modern Museum, Elgiz Museum, Merkez Bank, Garanti Bank, Bank of Holland, Anatolian University Art Museum, Devrim Erbil Art Museum, Jordan National Gallery, Prilep, Kriva Palanka, Galicnik City Collections of the Republic of Macedonia.
