Dilara Akay

Akay was involved in many design and art projects nationally and internationally. Beginning 2004 she has started creating linear sculptures which bring into mind the question of these forms’ being drawings or sculptures? Instead of dealing with the traditional mass in sculpture, she deals with "space" as an important element in her works by means of using natural or manmade industrial materials like iron, steel, plastic, etc.
